Fed: Centrelink problems show fed govt's incompetence
KIM BEAZLEY says widespread privacy breaches by Centrelink employees are another demonstration
of administrative incompetence by the federal government.
19 Centrelink staff have been sacked .. and 92 resigned .. after 790 cases of inappropriate
access to the records of welfare recipients were discovered.
The opposition leader says the problems at Centrelink follow on from administrative
bungles in the immigration and defence departments.
He says that after 10 years in government .. the coalition has no excuses for the privacy
breaches at Centrelink.
