Vic: Semi-trailer overturns spilling barrels on freeway
MELBOURNE, Dec 18 AAP - A semi-trailer has overturned, spilling 20 barrels of liquid
across the Tullamarine Freeway in Melbourne's north-west.
The accident happened at 6.15pm and, in spite of the chaos, the driver was uninjured,
a police spokeswoman said.
She said the accident happened between the Western Ring Road and Melrose Road with
outbound traffic heading towards the Hume Highway blocked.
The liquid, which has spread over the freeway, is yet to be identified.
