Fed: Telstra boosts Sydney, Melbourne net technology
CANBERRA, Feb 25 AAP - Telstra today upgraded its internet technology to cope withhuge growth in Sydney and Melbourne businesses clicking into cyberspace.
In what the telco branded an Australian first, Telstra commercially deployed 10 gigabitper second technology to boost its internet backbone and cater for continued growth.
Business customers have become more interested in broadband technology, with a 55 percent growth in internet traffic in the past year.
